ERIC ALLISON

 

Head of Mining Investment Banking (2010 - Present)
 

 
Mr. Allison currently serves as Head of Mining Investment Banking for Casimir Capital.
 
Eric is a geologist with over 30 years in the natural resources industry including technical evaluation, M&A and business development experience in metals, mining and oil & gas. Throughout his career, Eric has successfully closed over $2 billion of transactions and investments in over 20 countries around the world.
 
Prior to joining Casimir, Mr. Allison was a Director and Vice President at Sempra Commodities from 1999-2009 where he was responsible for the business development activities at Sempra Metals & Concentrates and Sempra Energy Trading. He served on the Board of Directors of several of Sempra’s wholly owned companies including Sempra Metals Limited, Sempra Metals & Concentrates and Henry Bath Warehouses.
 
From 1994-1999, Mr. Allison served as a consultant to various companies and law firms including Cyprus Amax Minerals, Phelps Dodge and Schlumberger. Eric was the Director of Business Development for Amax Energy from 1991-1994 and served as the head of Planning and Analysis at Amax Oil & Gas from 1988-1991.
 
Mr. Allison worked for SPG Exploration from 1982-1988, first as Chief Geophysicist and then as Exploration Manager. From 1980-1982, Eric was a geophysicist for Texaco.
 
Mr. Allison received a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Brown University in 1978 and a Master of Science degree in Geology from the University of Georgia in 1980.
